Visual Art workshops currently offered

Steve runs workshops in how to make the kind of work you see on the site. He currently offers workshops designed for every age group & ability in the following skills.

Little Giant characters - processional sculptures- willow & mixed media modelling

Comic Big Head characters portraits or caricatures - card & mixed media

Whole head and half masks on several themes ; Birds, Tudor characters, Aliens, Halloween and Gothic, Chinese Dragons, Mexican Day of the Dead, Wind in the Willows, Hungry Caterpillar

Window Painting - "drawing with tape" and sponge painting to create a non-permanent painting. Abstract, folk textile patterns, see through the lines when tape is removed.

Other visual art workshops include ; Mini Beasts sculpture, Flying Witches sculpture, T Shirt printing, Banners & Flags, Musical Pipes playground, Fruit & Veg puppets, Bird & Butterfly Kites, Willow & Tissue Lanterns, Cardboard Sculpture and large scale Processional Sculpture for carnival floats.

Steve has long experience of working with primary & secondary schools, community groups. He will design activities based on your requirements.
